Where in the bible is the versr why did Jesus weep?

Jn 11:35 is the verse "Jesus Wept." The context is the resurrection of Lazarus and includes Jn 11:1-37. Lazarus was a personal friend of Jesus. Lk 19:41 also records Jesus weeping during the triumphal entry. In this case it is for Jerusalem.
