Are You Awake Yet?

So what do you think about our economy? Have you decided that this is for real, that we are in really big trouble? Well, I have confessed, to those who would listen, that this time is for real and is really a rally call from God.

Are we really listening to what our hearts are saying? Are we looking to other "things" to guarantee our life style or are we looking to Yahweh God to show us the way.

I am so excied about what is goin on. Both my husband and I want God to show us how to survive during this time. We have debt, we have worries, we have grown children who need Him, we have grandchildren that need us to pray for them and we have neighbors and church friends that are in spiritual trouble. So what is the answer? Putting ourselves on the alter of God and letting Him transform us, so we can have the joy and freedom that only He can give.

Can't you feel the excitement in the air? Aren't you so blessed because you have a faith in something else besides this world and its ways? Praise be to God and His Son Jesus Christ who have given us so many promises. Let us believe these things that God has given us so we can live a victorious life.

This is the wake up call we all need - especially in the U.S. where things have been plenty (by God's grace) for a long time. We are just beginning to learn what it means to trust God. Unfrotunately, many are turning away because they feel God has failed them.

I pray this word of exhortation will encourage many to wake - up and focus on the goodness of God.

Yes, Teresa you are right! There may be more to write about on this subject!! (Trying not to use the word "I", it isn't easy). Hoping the LORD will inspire me for another article. Later, Anita

Yes, yes, yes. That is it exactly! "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."
