Jesus and Wisdom

“Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed. By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the deeps were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.”
Proverbs 3: 13 - 20
Now, lets do an exercise: ‘replace the word WISDOM with the word JESUS and then READ the passage again carefully.
“Blessed is the man who finds JESUS, the man who gains JESUS, for JESUS is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. Friends! Seek JESUS, and Accept HIM as your personal saviour and rejoice in His Salvation.

I was just reading this passage and suddenly it struck my mind that if I put Jesus' name in the place of the word wisdom then a greatturth comes in. An I did it. I myself was so delighted to see the wonder.

This is so much fun to do, putting Jesus in place of a word. There are so many other places we can do this too. Thanks for opening up this idea for us. Anita

Thanks Anita! You're very right. We have to minutely & carefully search those places for replacement of the right words. Cant afford to play with words somuch in the Bible.
