Please Don't Profane the Savior's Name
Jesus, I wonder if they know
When they take your name in vain
It is they who were sentenced to die
Who should have worn the cross, the pain?
For we all have sinned and fallen short
Of being righteous women and men
And no one will make it to heaven
Unless they're born again
Only one death makes redemption real
The death of Jesus on that tree
And when they profane your Holy name
I feel like the spear has pierced through me!
