Lord Jesus, I don't want to come out of situations " smelling like a rose " .

I want to BE a rose.

John 12:3

Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. (NKJV)

Acts 4:13

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. (NKJV)

Prayer: Oh, my Father, I need you so much! Please answer my prayer to be fragrant because I have been with Jesus! Do your surgery and take out " selfish self " to make me more like Jesus daily. Help me to eagerly turn loose and let go of those things which do not resemble him. AMEN

I like the thought of being a rose instead of just smelling like one. Good insight. It is all about being with jesus. thank you.
