In the freshness of morning dew
Across meadows of fragrant hopes
I see my Lord Jesus
Coming to bid me
"Take My Hand"
After rest of dreamless night
Clothed in delicate scent
Of miracles of changed hearts remembered
He imparts to me
His renewing, reviving strength
And bids me follow Him
Just to be able to catch a vision
Of who I AM is
And see the meadow's grassy flowers
Spring back from His gentle steps
Is how close to Him
I always want to stay
I will to be faithful
And with Jesus' strength
Grace and loving discipline
I shall draw nearer
As He continually remakes and molds
This child more completely His own.
I yield to You, the only I AM
The great omnipotent master of ages
The most loving Father in all time
I bow down, then hug my Lord Jesus

This is a beautiful poem that can easily become anyones prayer. It is now mine. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate the last line. It reveals the beauty of an intimate relationship with God each of us can have when we come to him in sweet surrender.» left by Anonymous (2 years 276 days ago.)
HE is so good to us and I am glad that He gives me nudges to write things down - they are encouragement and sermons in review each time I get to re-read them! Am so blessed by all these encouraging words from you all too.
