Lord of Love
Lord of Love
Jesus of my heart
Let your caring
Flow through me-
May I be
Broken bread
And poured out wine,
Used up by You-
Speak through my mouth
Those words
Hard for me
To Say-
Give me strong feet
That I might trod forth
To spend myself glorifying You
As I feed your sheep.
Faithful Encounterer
I come into Your presence
To sit at Your feet
To worship and meet
Anew each day
My redeemer, My Lord, JESUS
Exquisitely Patient Jesus
You care deeply
Even as others fade
Your love grows warmer
As others would snap and growl
You smile
And are with me still
Even when I'm ugliest
Help me to be
More like You
My exquisitely Patient Jesus.
Breath of Life
The Lord of Life, my Jesus,
Breathed on me
Through my dead frozen winter,
Took away my sin
And loved me to born again springtime
Where I blossomed in His Holy Spirit's life
Blooming, budding and yielding fruit
According to His perfect plan for me.
