Jesus, Your praises are sweet to speak
Your beauty and mercy beyond compare
I turn to lean on Your strength
And find You've always been there
Waiting for me to humbly reach out
Accept Your perfect, loving lift
Admit I cannot do it myself
And receive your blood bought, eternal gift!
My Rock
My ROCK, let me be
Steadied and stabilized
My feet secure
On You.
My Need
Lord Jesus, I need You so
To be in Your presence
Before I go
Out into life's flow
Again
Refresh and renew me I pray
Make this day
Specially Yours
Help me to walk narrow
Along Your appointed way.
Offering Up My Will
After I turned it right side up
When I went rushing around
With it turned upside down
You stood a little ways off
And let me pout and frown
Lifted
Today You lifted me up to You
Your calmness quieting my mind
And drawing me with it's strength
How long would I have burdened
If I'd chosen not to come?
I was so close to being crushed
By trying to carry my own heaviness.
Thank you beyond words, my Jesus
For drawing me into Your arms once again!!
