Daughter, grapple not with the apparent silence but lift up your faith to me.
Matthew 9:22
Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment. (NIV)
Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (NIV)
Mark 2:5
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." (NIV)
Mark 5:34
He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (NIV)
Prayer: Oh, Lord God, please help us to believe. Not some wispy faith in faith but faith in you, Lord Jesus, who spoke the worlds into existence and still moves on our behalf today! AMEN

I like the prayer about not having "faith in faith" but in Christ. Amen to that Marijo.Respond to this comment

I agree with Anne. It's not about having faith in faith or even faith in self, but it is faith in Christ that makes all the difference. In this life and in the life to come.Respond to this comment
