Peace Prince
Giving All
Price Paying
Never Changing
Salvation Rock
Living Foundation
Sacrifice Made
Liberator Eternal
Prisoner Set Free
Jesus, You came to visit me
When I was locked within despair
Sin slammed shut the door forever
I was truly a prisoner there
Jesus, again You looked in on me
Touched my infirmity and pain
Brought on by rejecting You
And You turned my heart again
You knocked with importunity
Until I gladly opened wide
To Your cleansing and forgiveness
And invited You inside
No longer is life a prison
With my sin sick soul inside
Jesus threw away the chains and bars
Since I choose in Him to abide.
Transparent Me
Sunshine brightens
A small section of the carpet
Because
Only one window is unveiled.
And Your Sonshine
Can illuminate fully
Only those parts of me
Where I allow the barriers
Of SELF will, SELF importance
And SELF sufficiency
To be lifted
So that Your eternal life
May enable me
To radiate
With the wholly unfragmented Light
Of Jesus in me.
