Intercession Devotional (Words from the Lord series)

Child, I speak to you as your Father, out of love to lift you to me.

Focus not on things past but the now and pray in this hour. Lift up the cry of your heart to me.

I hear and receive it and shall move accordingly.

Jesus shall conquer, deliver and be his focal point, his radiance, his complete joy, his only love.

He shall move forward by my Holy Spirit and I shall be pleased and moved. The hour is almost at hand, faint not now.

Isaiah 43:18

" Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. (NIV)

2 Samuel 22:7

In my distress I called to the LORD; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears. (NIV)

Joel 1:14

Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD. (NIV)

Prayer: Thank You Lord for hearing my cry. Please, help Jesus to be his “all in all”. Thank You for your tender pursuit. AMEN

Hi Marijo, just looking back through the early days of your postings, I love this, every word is so encouraging. Especially the Isaiah passage, forgetting the former things - even those things that are good - the thing that comes to mind are the seasons of ministry. We cannot grasp the new ministry opportunities if our hands are in full grasp of the old. Thank you for your faithful friendship and prayer! Love you!
