Whatever Our Choice, the Soul Never Dies
by Cheery Blossom(37)
Our soul resides within us,
A place that the Spirit dwells.
If we refuse His presence
Our soul will end up in hell.
A walk of joy, God’s offered
Still, He doesn’t deny free will.
The choice remains in our heart,
Yet He’ll gently call us still.
God’s love is never failing,
He knows each sparrow that falls.
He hears each small, feeble voice,
As unto Him they may call.
Master of our universe,
He knows every star by name.
Each soul that He has designed
Is loved by Him just the same.
Some choose His path to follow.
Some stubbornly walk their way;
But every knee will bow down
On the final judgment day.
Too late then, to bow to Him
When time will be no more.
We must choose to follow Him
While He’s knocking at our door.

Verna, brillant! The Gospel in a beautifully pointed poem. God does not mess with free will. No one will be without an excuse. I pray God opens the eyes and hearts of those who are still blinded. May he save them as he saved us! TeresaRespond to this comment

Thanks for your kind words. This was written during our missionary trip to Ukraine. The thoughts here seem to drive us to Ukraine to minister to the people there in spite of our age. How awful to not have ever heard!
