Thank you for this article Marijo-it confirms to me the way I pray. When I come to a crossroads in my thinking, I ask Jesus to help me figure out which way to go. I try not to look for the answer I think I want, but to accept whatever answer is revealed to me.I think people sometimes don't think their prayers are answered because they may be expecting a different answer than the one they get- and may have a hard time accepting that answer. A thought provoking, interesting article.Thanks- Always- EllaRespond to this comment

I agree - sometimes we tend to pray ANSWERS rather that open ended questions for the Lord to say yes or no.... I hear that!

I wanted to drop a note to let you know I genuinely appreciated this article. Based on my own experience that voice you quoted sounds exactly like the voice I hear. By that I mean the content - personal, loving, sincere, helpful, wise and honest. Thansk for sharing.

thanks so much for the encouragement Lance - HE is so very able! Sometimes we need hearing aids because maybe that "still, small voice" is saying something we don't want to hear, eh? Blessings!

Hi Marijo! Another great devotional. How true it is more often than should be - "Too much, too soon, too open"! Lord help me. Thank you for this beautiful reminder to be slow to speak and quick to listen. Love you girlie! So glad you had a great visit with Lorrie!! Hugs, TRespond to this comment
