Hebrews 13:2 Angels Among Us 2

I am believing more and more that it is true we have angels among us. Anyone that knows a little about me knows that I had a very difficult life. I am saying this to let you know that today I am a very different person because of the Lord our God, and his angles. For all the pain and hurt that I went through I should have a very cold heart as well as a cold personality and I do not. In fact, I am the complete opposite. I have a love and truely caring heart for everyone. I let people into my life instead of keeping them out. I feel that it is the angles that watched over my heart and soul, so that one day I could come to the Lord, and 44 years later I did just that. I am now a Christian.

Hebrews 13:2, says, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing, some have unwittingly entertained angels."( NKJV )

And

Psalms 91:11-12, says,"For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone."( NLT )

I am more and more amazed at the way my life is turning out and what I am letting myself feel because of God and his angels. I am also finding that I am learning alot about life. I am also learning how to let the good things that have happened in the past come out and take control of my life the same way I took care of my brothers and others that were in my life during the bad times. It doesn't matter what  age you are and if you had good parents to teach you good things about growing up, if so you were blessed. If you didn't then I feel for you because I was there in more ways than one. Either way, life is a great big building of learning, and I am still learning even though I am a 46 year old women. I am glad that I have an opportunity to change my life for the greater of the Lord our God.

In 1 Peter 2:9-10, it says something similar. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation , His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of him. " He tells me that one of my responsibilities is to tell anyone who is willing to lisen what God has done for me. It gives me courage and comfort knowing that I do not have to have all the answers. For now, I will stick with what I know, and the rest will come as I continue on.

I may not use big fancy words, or have all the doctrines of Christianity figured out yet, but one thing I do know is that God and his angels have always been there for me and now alll I have to do is look around me and see Christ in all that surrounds me because He put them in my life.

Hi Lydia, I am so blessed and encouraged by what God is doing in your life. You have come a long way. I know the road has not been easy, but your faithfulness to stay close even as the enempy seeks to pull you backward, will have its reward. You are an encouragment to many. That no matter how far down we have gone, our loving God is able to bend his knees and meet us right where we are. Keep growing, and sharing. And don't worry, sometimes big fancy words can never express the plain and simple truth. Love you! PS we wil be praying for Robert and Michael, that one day they will also be restored and made new.
