God Provides

PSALM 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live therein; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.

Is it any wonder that God provides for His people? He owns everything that we can see, and all things that we cannot see. He is the creator, and the owner. I don’t know about you, but this is a thrill to my heart, to think that He owns it all, and yet cares for me. And, He cares for you, even if you have not committed yourself to Him as yet, but oh how He cares for His own. Don’t miss out on being the child of the owner of all, because He provided the blood of His only Son to die for you.

God prepared a place for Adam.

It was a garden of great beauty.

He prepared a fish for Jonah;

When thrown in the midst of the sea.

He provided strength for David

As at Goliath, stones he hurled.

He provided escape for Israel

From their labor in Egyptian’s world.

God walked with three of His children,

Right in the middle of the fire;

Protected the prophet, Daniel

When He was thrown in the lion’s lair.

And still, our God is providing

For all of the people, a way.

Through Christ, providing salvation,

And strength for every hard day.

So, each day, we walk by faith,

Accepting His provision,

For each daily step we take

Towards our place prepared in heaven

What an awesome, Almighty God! Never forget that He owns it all.

Even the world recognizes that past performance is the greatest indication of future performance. I can say that this is so true of God. The poem is meant to point out the past, but also the future performance of God. I hope that you, with me, have tested and tried, and found this to be very true.

Thank you so much for being an encourager. I am so thankful to God if anyone gets a little something out of things that I write. It seems like there are thoughts whirling in my head a lot of the time, but I never find time enough to write them down. Thanks for your critique.
