We all have those family members who seem to plow on, making choices which break the heart of God and their loved ones, those who are doing things which are tragic in consequences. Maybe they are deep into drugs, alcohol, bad relationships. Maybe they are winking at “cheating”, stealing life from their marriage. Maybe they are stealing from their boss or just into themselves to the extent that they crowd out all those who love them.
Sometimes it becomes overwhelming to the family onlooker who has found forgiveness and been set free, someone who has turned their life over to God and is learning, day by day, to walk a different pathway.
That family member or friend who has been changed is chomping at the bit to share with you Who has come into their life. Who has set them FREE! And this all seems to be falling on deaf ears. That family member can so relate to where you are right now because, not too long ago, they walked the road with you.
There is much encouragement in knowing that Jesus prays. Jesus prays for us who know and love him. He intercedes for us, maybe even praying that we will know the correct timing and boldness for sharing with a loved one and when to be quiet….
My daughter, my precious daughter, you are my own. My hand is upon you. My Spirit is with you, be not afraid. I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say. Your loved ones are safe entrusted into my care. I lift them up in intercession before the Father’s throne continually. Be of good faith/cheer I hear your pleas and know the desires of your heart. You shall see fruit blooming in my splendor soon. Selah.
Romans 8:27
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:34
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (NKJV)
In Joshua the Bible says: And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (NJKV)
Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes the hardest people to witness to are our own flesh and blood. Make me bold when you have opened that door and make me quiet unless you have gone before and prepared the way. Help me to remember I am not to play Holy Spirit but speak the words you have given me. AMEN

Odd that I haven't clicked for ages into a mailing advising of articles until this one ~ beautifully written; and I especially love that Jesus' name is in the title. This sends a powerful message throughout: "He intercedes for us, maybe even praying that we will know the correct timing and boldness for sharing with a loved one and when to be quiet…." Many blessings and keep shining a beacon of light for others to follow! Suzy» left by Marijo Phelps(180)(1 year 85 days ago.)

Hi MJ. Beautiful. This is shared with such a spirit of humility. We must always remember that we were once in darkness and it is by this same wooing that God brought us, that He will bring them. Heavenly Father, may the hearts of our family members answer your call. In the name of Jesus, Amen.» left by Marijo Phelps(180)(1 year 84 days ago.)
