Crossing Over!

In Joshua chapter 1, the Lord told Joshua to go and cross the Jordan, to the land He was going to give him and the people. God said He would not fail or forsake them. He told them to be strong and courageous - not to be afraid or dismayed, for "God is with you wherever you go."

Joshua said to the people, "The Lord your God gives you rest and will give you this land."

What has the Lord told you to "cross over" and possess? Has He promised you a job, a relationship, freedom, healing? There are many precious promises in His Word that we can all possess. For me, right now, I'm "crossing over" to possess freedom to be who I am without fear of rejection. I'm also crossing over to possess healing in my body from migraines that I have had for about 35 years. I am ready to be strong and courageous and to trust that THE LORD is with me wherever I go, and that I need not be afraid of ANYTHING. He has already fought the battles and won them FOR me. I just need to WALK in the victory!

God tells us to go and to possess those things He is giving us. We are to cross over into the land in faith that He will do it. We are to be strong and courageous in our walk - and not fearful, for God is WITH us!
