In your resurrection, the power of love breaks through death to bring life;
Break through our losses and disappointments with your love.

Love drew Mary Magdalene to your tomb;
Where we are sad, give us your hope.
Risen Lord Jesus
your closest friends couldn't understand the resurrection at first;
Help us to believe your truth.

Your simple word of greeting caused Mary's heart to leap for joy;
Help us to listen to you calling us by name.
Risen Lord Jesus
Your followers failed to see you walking with them;
Help us to know your presence in the breaking of bread, and drinking of wine.

Our lives are sometimes dominated by fear;
Come and speak your word of peace into our hearts

You came to Thomas in his honest doubting;
Continue to reveal yourself, that faith may be stronger than doubt.

Lord restore us from our failures to faithful service in your kingdom.

The recipes on this blog look dcioeilus. I think if I try them, I will have to start looking for a weight loos site to find some recipes for people who will have to lose it! Some of the dessert ones especially look just wonderful and I am going to try some. Maybe the next time you and Ben come up, I will make one.of them. Have you tried them all?[]
