What are some of the top Bible verses that give strength to the hurting? There are so many to choose from and so many people in need of hope. God is the source of strength and gives great encouragement through His holy word. Check out this llist of some of my favorite Bible verses about strength and courage.

1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Joshua 1:9-11 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”And Joshua commanded the officers of the people, “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.’”

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Hello Josh. Welcome to World-Wide Bible Studies! I appreciate these Scriptures, they are encouraging and exactly what this world needs today! Isaiah 43:2-3 is one of my top 5 favorites:

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel - What a promise the though we will face trial and hardship in this life, they will not destroy if we make God our God.
